Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They provide an extra benefit or impact while the equipment in use. They can be purchased from players or vendors, scavenged or gotten as rewards, or created using crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects in addition to providing attribute bonuses.

Infusions, inscriptions, and enhancements are all types of upgrade components. They are not available for general use and are only available on ascended equipment or on certain weapons that are not ascending from the Factions Campaign.  item upgrades , inscriptions, as well as enrichments can be recovered from equipment using an Infusion Extraction Device, or salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.

Phoenix Boxes unlike other  upgrade item s can be traded and re-used when still attached to the item they are upgrading. These upgrade items can be used to increase the quality of armor and weapons without the expense of Dilithium. They can increase the likelihood that an item will receive a high-quality upgrade.

Upgrade components can be added to an item however, the original one is destroyed (except for legendaries and Ascended equipment). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or more can include upgrade components them. The addition of an upgrade to an item that is already equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade will display the name of the resulting item as it appears in game (for instance, adding an Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be named Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player is limited to three upgrade items at once.

Glyphs

Glyphs are a useful accessory to any item because they offer a variety of unique advantages and boosts. Some glyphs can also increase the number of affixes that can be placed on an item, increasing its overall strength. These glyphs are acquired through the completion of Dungeons. Some are even found in specific World Tier 3 zones. It's important to remember that glyphs can only be used by players who have created a root-dungeon with the same depth.

To use a Glyph it is necessary to build it from components and connect them with anchors. The component will then automatically align itself to other components or paths within the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph from components, you can build it using a combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag  item upgrading  in close proximity to an element highlighted to snap it into place.

Certain glyphs require certain requirements to be fulfilled, such as 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some glyphs require a specific number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which may be a challenge to attain. Some glyphs have a radius that grows with each level.

Glyphs are used for various items, and are added to all weapons except for weapons of specific classes. Certain glyphs can be used with additional conditions, such as a certain amount of Dexterity damage, or Attack damage on a specific portion of the Paragon board.

The Defend Glyph has a 5% chance to deflect attacks from enemies. It also has an opportunity to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.

Some glyphs can also be applied to restricted tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. The addition of these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.

The most commonly used glyphs in the game are the attack ones that increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. They are especially beneficial for classes that are ranged like Warriors and Rogues. The Exploit Glyph can make enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to damaging effects.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. They are destroyed when the reroll occurs. Reroll tokens are obtained through a variety of ways, including through the dungeons, raids, and skirmishes. They can also be purchased at the shop, or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, because they let players play a reroll of rewards from the end chest.

For items at the level 1, there are values for recycling points. When an item is recycled, it will add a specific number of points to the upgrade gauge. This value is based on the rarity of the item and its level. The upgraded item will also not keep its level when it is rerolled, and the cost for recycling an upgraded item increases as its level increases.

It is also possible to make use of reroll tokens to roll an item. However, this will not bring back the item's original stats, or level. This is useful for players who wish to reroll a piece of equipment they don't love but want to keep in their collection.

Three different types of upgrade coins are available in the game - Reroll, randomly generated and upgrade. Each type has a few subtypes. For example, reroll tokens come in three different levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each requires an item from the appropriate level to create an item of that quality.

To make use of reroll tokens, right-click the Satanic or Angelic item in the inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select the type of token. The tokens that are available include Item Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns, and Focus. The Item token can be used to create an Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon from the same faction.

The item could also be upgraded to a new item with the same stats but a higher level. This will happen if the item has been placed in the Pool that is not droppable or was transferred to the pool as part of a franchise card.
